“Bon Fim” means “Good Ending”. Bonfim refers to the colorful ribbons from the state Bahia in the North of Brazil. Locals believe that the ribbons attract good luck and ward off misfortune. Brazilian people believe that “Senhor do Bonfim” cures diseases and fulfill desires.
